A literary evening dedicated to poetry was held in Lubimovka, and it was held by the children of our Favourite School. Not only did they carry the evening out, but the script for the scene was also almost entirely to their credit.



Poetry is an inexhaustible topic. We talked about how poetry always surrounds us and helps us to not only express feelings, but to also better ourselves. The children noted that without poetry the world would be grey and dull.



Our Russian literature is distinguished by the vividness of its images and feelings. One of the first world-famous Russian poets is A. S. Pushkin. His poems are laconic and easy to remember and each word carries meaning into the overall idea of the work.



Our young schoolchildren tried to combine their ideas about the life of that era, how the great poet wrote and what role Natalya Goncharova could have played in his work. We specifically studied the costumes of that time with them, the lifestyle and the style of speech. They even acted the poem “Winter Evening” with a small scene.



Guests and teachers of our beloved school also read their favourite poems about winter.



Then the children had a quiz, which of course, was also on the topic of literature: we remembered proverbs, genres and fairy tales. There were also more difficult tasks - to compose a puzzle poem or guess a word in Tsvetaeva’s work. The children did a brilliant job!



And of course, thanks to the efforts of all the mothers, we had a tea party with homemade, tasty and healthy treats! And we still have a bunch of unplayed games left, which means our meetings will continue!
