Skazki o Sile

The settlement is nestled in the foothills of the “Pshaf” mountain range (altitude: 450m, 47 peaks). It is 50km from Krasnodar, 30km to Goryachiy Klyuch and 80km to the seaside village of Dzhubga. There is deciduous forest around the settlement, with oak, beech, hornbeam, elm, and pine. The river Ilich runs through the mountains. It is surrounded by wild nature and breaks into many waterfalls.

All of the settlement plots are located in the hills. Each area offers panoramic views of the forest, gorge, mountain range “Pshaf”, and Kamennaya (Stone) mountain, which is 360 metres high. Apple trees, quince and other trees (10 species) and herbs (25 species) grow on the plots. The plots are 1.3 – 1.8 hectares in size.

The total area of the settlement covers about 50 hectares, which is enough to house 30 families. Two families have already developed their plots and live on the settlement permanently. Two families will start building their homesteads in April - May 2012.

A gate at the entrance of the settlement opens onto a road which traverses the entire territory.

We plan to build a workshop and two gazebos in the communal area.
We help people who are just starting to build their family homestead to construct a well on their property and give practical advice and information based on their own experiences.

Everyone who wants to join the settlement must first fill out a questionnaire and becomes acquainted with our charter so that they can understand our principals and can choose whether they agree with our philosophy or not.
Farming land costs 3000 rubles per hectare. Any property registered on the land may be inherited, but cannot be sold on.
